Soul & Funk 45s and LPs!!!

Fine update of 60s & early 70s soul/funk today. Massive amount of 7"s, everything from stone classics by Bettye Swann and Mike James Kirkland to grits 'n' gravy funk and also a few rare picture sleeve issues (Irma Thomas, Mary Wells, Supremes). LP highlights include the rare Turbo original of the On Coming Times album, rare doo wop from Avons on Hull, Willie Hutch's superb "Soul portrait" (including the perennial favorite "Lucky to be loved by you"!) and Frankie Gearing's equally tremendous Japan-only LP. More 60s delight comes in the shape of James Carr's beyond classic deep soul set "A man needs a woman" and Jimmy Hughes' "Steal away", plus a Sam Cooke double-header ("I thank God" and "Hit Kit").

Also worth mentioning some great new reissues and previously unreleased LPs. Bjarne Rostvold's rare trio jazz album "Tricrotism", unissued jazz/fusion from Quintonal, eagerly awaited hip hop from Joey Badass and and a few more copies of JB's "These are the JB's" plus Nohelani Cypriano's "Lihue" (first time on 7").

Check the pictures below for examples of the rarer stuff or see all of this week's new arrivals on our New In Stock-section.
