Blues & Blues Rock

Hard to feel bad when the sun is shining like it does in Stockholm right now, but we'll do our best to make it a little more blue. Tons of Blues today with legendary names like John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, B.B. King - electric, harmonica, acoustic, piano - name your blues of the day and we hopefully have it!

Tomorrow, 21/4, is Record Store Day 2018! Store opens up one hour earlier than usual, 11-16, Trensum Tribe will be spinning records (13-15), and of the massive amounts of RSD releases we'll be selling a select few. And most importantly - a good time will be had by all!

When the RSD hangover has passed, you can look forward to a good week of live music the upcoming week here in Stockholm. First up is Johan Lindström Septett on Tuesday 24/4 and then Bobby Oroza with Cold Diamond & Mink on Saturday 28/4. Both at Fasching, more info here:

Jazz Late 60s-Now

Back to Jazz today, with many a fine record from the late 60s and onward. Some titles on the straighter side of things, as well as LPs in spiritual jazz and fusion territory. Mainstay names like Don Cherry, Miles Davis and Johnny Hammond share space with less know but just as much wanted artists like Edith Hill, Gus Giordano and Charles Rouse, and over to Japan with Tsuyoshi Yamamoto and the Electro Keyboard Orchestra.
