Soul 60s and 70s

Hello all,
Hope Christmas has been good to you - we will do our best to improve it with todays 60s/70s soul update.

Among the albums we find highlights as the superb Optimistics (recommended for sweet soul crossover fans) and Artistics LPs, plus the very rare Mabus Madness LP on Maple. Anyone into deep soul needs the Tommie Young album, and the same thing goes for the Japan-only Tommy Tate LP and Mavis Staples outstanding "Only for the lonely". Also nice to be able to offer the Lim Taylor album for the first time in years.

Moving to the 45s, we find a killer northern/sweet soul doublesider from the Jelly Beans, Walter Jacksons all-time great "Let me come back" and a hard-hitter from The Quantrells - kiddie groups usually don't get my vote, but this one is the real deal! For the UK Motown collectors we can also offer a couple of nice bits from Martha and The Vandellas and The Supremes.

Hope you find something of interest, and see you again in 2019.

Hip Hop & R&B

First Hip Hop update in a while now, combined with price reductions on the older Hip Hop stock - always a good feeling to replenish and renew a section. Although most Hip Hop fans seem to prefer the "old" or the classics, it's not just Golden Age today, but a few newer titles too - both under the radar and successful albums.

RnB and current soul titles like Beyonce's Lemonade, TLC, Maxwell and Anthony Hamilton, Hip Hop classics a la A Tribe Called Quest, Gang Starr (and Guru's Jazzmatazz), Dr. Dre, N.W.A, Outkast, Mobb Deep and KMD, plus a record in worse condition than we'd usually sell, but happens to be signed by Futura 2000... so check out this week's additions, grab a bargain from the reductions and enter the weekend in Shaolin style!

Progg and Progressive Rock

Time for the best Prog update we've had in a long time today, with plenty of rare and much wanted titles ranging from Swedish progg as well as progressive rock from our dear Scandinavian neighbours, UK and mainland Europe...
Swedish titles include the private pressings Plebb and Pandora, the elusive Modern Music Band, scarce 7 inch singles from Gun Smoke and Olhssons Grova, as well as titles considered classics despite being tough to find.
From Finland we have a real Wigwam party with 8 of their releases (plus two Pembroke solos) and some Tasavallan Presidentti, Denmark is spearheaded by Burnin Red Ivanhoe, and Norway has given us the rare Vanessa - City Lips LP and Moose Loose, to name a few.
Many a sought after UK titles also like Demon Fuzz, Clear Blue Sky, May Blitz 2nd, Bakerloo, East of Eden's first and so on...

And since it's Black Friday we felt we had to reduce prices on a selection of Rock records. The reduced titles can be seen marked as Reduced & In Stock on our website, under the New In Stock section.

Disco, Modern Soul and House

Hello all,

Friday again, and this time we do a disco/house/Italo/modern soul special. Among the highlights in the more soulful area we find the Tony Fox album with the modern soul evergreen "Love, let love and be loved", the Harris & Orr/Spread Love LP, Mascara's "See you in L.A." (vocals from Luther Vandross) and two step delight from Father's Children ("Hollywood dreaming") and Rinlew Allstars ("Didn't want a lot, did ya"). A few great 12"s and 45s as well, including the majestic modern soul cut "It's you girl" by Universal Love and the all-time boogie tune "Much too much" by Sass.

Unusually for us, there's also a fair bit of Italo going out today. Some rare titles in the lot, including 12" s from Sahara Band, Clio and Brand Image, and plenty of 75-180 SEK bits.

Hope you find something of interest!
