Free Jazz, Steady Wailin' Sid, Walt Dickerson and more!

Hi again!
We have recently bought a large collection of 12"s from 70s and 80s, ranging from cheapies to top stuff. These will be listed on the webstore the coming weeks but many of them will be in our store only sale bins with prices from 10 SEK to 30 SEK.

This week we have made some changes to the website such as New In Stock and Recommendations and the House- and Broken Beats & Nu Jazz-sections have been merged into House, Beats & Electronic. We now also have a dedicated Free Jazz & Avantgarde-section. To celebrate this we have added some 70 free jazz records including top titles on classic labels such as ESP-disk, FMP and BYG Actuel. Check below for examples.

Since last Friday we have in total listed almost 500 new records. Really strong stuff in all sections, check below for the some of the more exclusive titles.

Great copy of ultra rare soul/funk LP with brilliant, deep and moody "Mechanic".

ABBEY LINCOLN - ABBEY IS BLUE
Brilliant 60's vocal jazz LP. Top version of "Afro blue" but the whole LP is good.

"Mystery of ages" killer vocal fusion with hard drums. We have also listed his "Black Love"-album today.

"Searchin' for the soul" wonderful soul/jazz club track with boogie influences.

Original US pressing of massive West coast classic from 1992.

HAROLD LAND - THE FOX
Quality jazz with Elmo Hope and Herbie Lewis, first issue from 1960 on HiFi.

US original with the awesome and uplifting latin/funk tunes "Latin strut" and "Aftershower funk" .

Absolutely fantastic album on orange/black label stereo original. A couple of more Coltrane-originals on Impulse added this week.

LAMB - SAME
Rare electronica/beats LP from 1996.

Super fresh US original of album with the wicked bossa/jazz tune "Consola coa" and a good version of "Lickin' stick".

MICHAEL JACKSON - ROCK WITH YOU
My favorite party tune from Michael, rare promo only US 12".

UK-released Danish fusion from 1976. Contains the beat-heavy "Pluto" and the trippy "Samba libre" that's for all you who like Stark Reality.

French library LP with plenty of funky jazz and fuzzed out psych moments. One of a handful of library-albums added this week.

Fusion set with a smokey, progressive sound. Sounds like a mix of Placebo and "Bitches brew".

Nice to be able to offer this classic album, US promo original.

Rare modal jazz album on the original purple label New Jazz pressing from 1961. "Death and taxes" and "The cry" are lovely.

Rare private jazz LP from 1978 featuring Allen Houser and Buck Hill.

BENGT NORDSTRÖM - BNLP 9F / 10M

Ultra rare Swedish private press free jazz on the Bird Notes label. 15-40 copies only to my knowledge, and a truly special piece.

Avantgarde/experimental LP on the highly collectable FMP label. Many more Brötzmann- and FMP-albums listed this week.

Free improvised octet sounds from 1972 together with Byard Lancaster.
