Soul 60-70's LP's & 45's!

We're back this friday with a fine Soul update, spanning across the 60's and 70's. As usual there's staples from need-no-introduction names like Al Green, Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, Impressions and so on. The 45 selection has highlights in Helen Troy "I Think I Love You", Danny Thurston "What Was I Supposed To Do", Blue Magic "Can I Say I Love You", Albert Washington "Case Of The Blues" and in-demand Detroit northern soul in "Since I Found My Baby" by Metros. The LP's include Ann Peebles scarce debut "This Is Ann Peebles", office favorites in Gil-Scott Heron's "Pieces Of A Man" and Freddie Hughes "Send My Baby Back", as well as the rare "Let's Give Each Other Love" by Family Circle. It's time for a little Reggae update this Friday! Stuff from household names such as I-Roy, Lee Perry, Augustus Pablo, Gregory Isaacs, Derrick Morgan, Prince Buster and others. Particular highlights include the rare LP by More Relation, a few tough twelves in the classic Lee Perry/Max Romeo cut "Disco Devil", "Be Thankful" by Winston Curtis and "Rampers Music" by Junior Khadaffy. And naturallya whole lot of other niceness!

Latin, Brazil, Afro and Tropical!

Strong update today in the Latin, Brazil, Afro and Tropical bags! Been a while since we last could offer such quantity in these styles, and there's a hefty amount of quality as well. Brazil is represented by the likes of Nara Leao, Djavan, Gilberto Gil, the woderful Deodato-arranged "Daybreak" by Best Of Friends, among others. In the Afro and Tropical section we have some mandatory Fela Kuti, Aminata & Xalis "Nao", fantastic deep blues sounds on Ali Toure "Farka", "Tchokozile" by Zambian legend Paul Ngozi, and more. Swedish Jazz EP's!

This Friday we're serving some Swedish Jazz EP's! Including a good amount of rarities from Monica Zetterlund, Lars Gullin, Jutta Hipp, Bernt Rosengren, Tommy Flanegan, Tommy Potter and Freddie Redd. We're also glad to offer Bertil Lövgren and Bosse Wärmell "Blue Train / Rue Chaptal" once more, as well as two very rare Bird Notes EP's! One containting radio broadcast recordings of Sonny Rollins and Miles Davis, and the other being BNEP 8A/B featuring a full group on one side and a drum solo by Bosse Skoglund on the other. And as always, there's lots more than that!

Disco, Modern Soul & House!

Today we are filling up our Disco, Modern Soul and Electronic sections big! Lots of great stuff, with some extra emphasis on on the 12's, where you'll find titles like Freudian Funk Band "I'm Ambivalent..", Chain Reaction "Dance Freak" and China Burton "You Don't Care", as a few examples. Some nice 45's as well in Starvue "Love Struck", Muscle Shoals Horns "Addicted To Your Love", Larry Whittington "You Can Always Count On Me" and "Keep On Tryin'" by Fir-Ya. That said, there is no shortage of additions to the LP sections either. Be sure to check Sjunne Fenger's "Mindgames", the Roy Ayers-produced "Ladies Of The Eighties", and the other 300+ titles in the new arrivals!
