Blue Note - Record Mania 20th anniversary update!

This week our store celebrates its 20th anniversary (!) and what would be more fitting than a Blue Note-update?! Around 100 titles added to the website, including some real heavy hitters as originals of Clifford Jordan - Cliff Craft, Kenny Dorham - Afro-Cuban, J.R. Monterose BLP 1536, Lee Morgan - Indeed and Jackie McLean - Swing Swang Swingin! Also some tasty early 2nd or later pressings such as Hank Mobley BLP 1550, John Coltrane - Blue Train plus a bunch of New York USA- and Liberty-originals and many more!

Large reggae drop today with over 150 titles added to the website. Mainly LP but a small batch of 7s and 12s too. The wonderful Love Me Forever-LP by Carlton & the Shoes is a big favourite of ours and needs a special mention, We also have a seldom seen Susan Cadogan LP (Chemistry of Love), Israel Vibrations roots masterpiece The Same Song, dub LPs from Revolutionaries, Scientist and Gussie Clark plus classic albums from Linval Thompson, Leroy Smart, Gladiators, Al Campbell and more.

Punk, New Wave, Indie and Alternative!

This Friday we focus on the Indie/Alternative & Punk/New Wave. In the first one we have a lot of Swedish goodies as Bob Hund, Håkan Hellström, Thåström and the very popular LP with Jakob Hellman. The first two albums by Orange Juice and the classic milestone "Nevermind" with Nirvana representing the international ones. Worth mentioning in the next one are titles with Gang Of Four, Coil, Section 25 and a bunch of Ramones. Finishing of with two favourites in the weirdo-department: Konrad & the amazing Friz Be album!

Latin, Brazil & Afro

Today we're adding stuff in three different sections - Latin, Brazil and Afro! In the Latin section we find Orquesta Olivieri's rare self-titled LP, a Cumbia Siglo XX LP plus staples from Bobby Matos and Latin Blues Band. Among the Brazilian stuff we have indemand titles from Milton Nascimento and Jorge Ben plus some afro stuff we never had before from Prof. Kofi Abraham, Micho Ade and Zexie Manatsa to mention a few.
