Disco, Modern Soul & House!

Today we are filling up our Disco, Modern Soul and Electronic sections big! Lots of great stuff, with some extra emphasis on on the 12's, where you'll find titles like Freudian Funk Band "I'm Ambivalent..", Chain Reaction "Dance Freak" and China Burton "You Don't Care", as a few examples. Some nice 45's as well in Starvue "Love Struck", Muscle Shoals Horns "Addicted To Your Love", Larry Whittington "You Can Always Count On Me" and "Keep On Tryin'" by Fir-Ya. That said, there is no shortage of additions to the LP sections either. Be sure to check Sjunne Fenger's "Mindgames", the Roy Ayers-produced "Ladies Of The Eighties", and the other 300+ titles in the new arrivals!

Fridays and Blue Note go hand in hand, and today we have lots of tasty pieces on the menu!  Among the highlights you will find clean stereo originals of Dexter Gordon "Our Man In Paris", Grant Greens "Idle Moments" in shrink, Ike Quebec "Bossa Nova Soul Samba", just to name a few. As well as beautiful mono originals of Lou Donaldson "The Natural Soul" Duke Pearsons "Tender Feelin's", Dexter Gordon " Dexter Calling", and we're proud to offer John Jenkins/Kenny Burrell "BLP 1573" and J.R. Monterose "BLP 1536" once more. And of course, that's just scratching the surface!

Progg & Progressive Rock!

This week brings not only the Friday Blue Note update, but also a Progg and Progressive Rock update today! The selection includes Swedish Progg classics from November, Hansson och Karlsson, Ragnarök, Made In Sweden, Kvartetten Som Sprängde, Sogmusobil, as well as Peps and Blues Quality "Sweet Mary Jane" and the oddity "Tiden Läker Inga Sår" by Järngustav. In the Progressive bag, highlights consists of some fine Vertigo Swirls such as the self-titled releases by Still Life, Warhorse and Gordon, and "A Ballad Of A Peaceful Man" by Gravy Train!
