Very strong update this week with hundreds of 70s & 80s soul/disco/boogie titles, from the plain good to the ultra rare. Starting with the albums, we are proud to offer such quality pieces as the Timeless Legend album, O.T. Sykes' superb "First love", the very hard-to-obtain Paradise LP on Ebony, modern soul gold from Timothy Wilson, Larry Joseph's soul/boogie collectible "Platinum funk", badass disco funk from Rim Kwaku Obeng and a sealed OG of the tough WQBC album!
Moving on to the 45s, we are looking at one of the most sought-after pieces on the current modern soul scene in the shape of the Shider Family Band's "Keep you burning". Next to that is mega 70s midtempo from Pat Stallworth, two magnificent crossover sides from Carmelita, rare modern from Phillip Wright and Straight Jacket and the much-loved "You keep coming back" by 100% Pure Poison.
Ok, so what about the 12"s, you ask? Feels good to present an original copy of arguably the rarest West End 12", George & Glen Miller's "Touch your life". Tons more great stuff though, from soulful disco excellence by Debbie Hayes ("Let's get this thing together"), island disco funk from Ray Munnings and the scarce Masheen double-hitter, to huge classics by Loose Joints, Arthur Russell, ORS and LOGG.
Would also like to mention that we recent got a bunch of Italian library titles from big guns like Piero Umiliani and Puccio Roelens that are well worth checking. A brief mention must also go to the Wolf Escher Quintet EP - just supreme German 60s jazz that comes highly recommended.
